Because of the new Player Upgrades the Ravens now have (Stallworth and Boldin) the Priority List has now adjusted.
Going into the 2010 Season Wide Receiver was the glaring need. Listed below is the New Priority List. Dig in, let me know what you think:
Need #1. Pass Rusher
Need #2. Wide Receiver (Deep threat or Boldin Clone)
Need #3. Cornerback
Need #4. Outside Linebacker
Why Pass Rusher #1? Let's face it, as it stands right now, we can't get to Rothlesburger without a mad blitz and that's if we are lucky!
Why Wide Receiver #2? We have those 2 beast that will be somewhere in the mix in the 1st two rounds. They can come in and learn from Boldin and finally set the pattern for excellence at WR for the Ravens. The 3 players that have the speed that we have a shot at are Benn (ILL), Thomas (GT) and Tate (ND). Trap, I know your hard on Tate, but I'm promise, if he goes to a team that has a good QB he will show out! To me Benn is a sure thing.
Why Cornerback #3? I think we have some guys on the team that can play solid. Once the Ravens played more cover two, it hid the weakness of Foxworth as a cover corner. He clearly is not a man to man guy. Web will be solid once he comes back. Fabian Washing is okay covering, but his tackle skills are weak. I like what Chris Carr did at season's end. I hope he can push for the starting spot. Meanwhile, the Ravens should pick the best CB available in the draft.
Why Outside Linebacker #4? If the Ravens can find that Linebacker with speed that can help with the Rush that would help Suggs numbers. We all know the Ravens do a good job drafting at Linebacker.
Overall, I think it would be a mistake to not address WR in this draft because of the Boldin acquisition. We should build on it. Look in our own division. The Steelers are set at WR - Ward, Holmes, Wallace and Sweed. Cincy has Chad and you know they will add to it. Even Cleveland had a promising rookie in Mohamed Massaquoi who averaged almost 19 yards per reception. You know Holmgren will get another WR. They just have problems at QB.
Well, Let me know what you think?

I agree about the #1 need. And not some tweener DE/LB that we convert to LB. We need a true DE or DT whose hand is in the dirt 24/7 and can get after the QB on a consistent basis.
As far as WR, we need a speedy(preferably tall) deep threat, not another Bolden clone. Bolden is similar to Mason, though bigger, stronger and better at the YACs. I still want them to bring Mason back.

Plus his blocking. To me, he's more like a Hines Ward type of receiver without that silly smile on his face. Both love the game, both clutch. Both productive. The numbers may look the same but, Arizona had more places to throw the ball. As far as WR, Mason was the only option if you look at the numbers. Your right I would take that big tall speedy receiver to add to the mix, but having two players like Boldin won't hurt as well. If you want that big guy with speed in the Draft other than Bryant, Thomas from GT is a beast. I would take him. Who do you like?

Ravenone - I don't follow the college game enough to know which receiver I like the best, other than what I read and hear. If I were Ozzie, I would look for a guy that has the heart and desire to fight to get open, that wants the ball(the anti Clayton) who's hungry for playing time. Mix that in with the tallest and fastest package and that't the guy I want. But I still feel that the # 1 need for the Ravens now is a pass rushing stud that can get pressure on the QB. We need that so we don't have to rely on blitzing more than 1 LB to put pressure on the QB, which puts pressure on our vulnerable secondary. Of course if Dez Bryant falls to us, you've go to take him. Not sure if any of the other receivers I hear about are worth the 25th pick, other than maybe one of the stud tight ends, but they all seem to have question marks on them either health or off the field related. Ozzie has some tough choices ahead of him.

I think that's the biggest thing about our defense. It's no question a top three Defense. One of the things I would say, it's overrated as far as geting to the QB. Even the year Trevor Price join the team when Price and Suggs had double digit sacks I believe it scheme had a lot to do with it. Now the film has caught up to us. Sure Price is up there in age. How many time last year have you seen them blitz 2 or 3 and still not get to the QB? As it stands, right now the league has of number when it comes to pass defending us. We really need help there. Carlos Dunlap DE, Florida and Derrick Morgan, GT should be gone by pick 16. Brandon Graham from Mich should be there. He's a Raven type player. Good Rusher.
